We had dump trucks hauling dirt all day on Friday. A bobcat and bulldozer did some trail blazing as well. I’ve only built trail with hand tools, so it was strange to sit back and watch. The park is, once again, ready to be built. We had a pretty good turn out in July before construction was put on hold pending a property issue. My son and I took a quick ride on the Juniper Trail this morning. Having just been cut, the trail was mighty soft. More tires and some much needed rain should firm things up.
A big thank you to everyone who made it out to our first dig day. In a couple of short hours we were able to nearly complete a rough cut of the Juniper Trail.
